World Islamic Economic Forum

Posted By on March 12, 2009

The World Islamic Economic Forum met in Jakarta from March 1 to 3. Islamic countries want to organize themselves into a free trade region, and they want to promote Islamic banking as an alternative to the failed Western banking model. Stories at Indonesia-Ottowa, BBCThe Brunei Times, The Manila Times, and more background at Islamic Economics. Islamic banks have been relatively unaffected by the global banking crisis, and Islamic nations see the crisis as an opportunity to forge new trade alliances.

A dissenting view at Militant Islam Monitor. Nevertheless, Islam controls several governments and several major universities and has multinational cooperative agencies, which makes it the best-organized religion in the world.  Islam is a player on the global stage in a way that no other religion can match. Islam is confident that global trends favor its rise. The global financial crash will favor Islamic banking, regardless of whether the international bankers repair their global financial system or not. There is an alternative to the corrupt practices of Western banks, it is Islamic banking, and it is ready to become global.

China’s plans for world genocide

Tricycle magazine (Buddhist) published a review of Warren Smith’s new book China’s Tibet: Autonomy or Assimilation? We haven’t read China’s Tibet, but the review caught our attention. Smith presents the two versions of Tibetan history, the Chinese and the Tibetan, and explains the unresolvable conflict that results when Communism encounters nationalism. The Chinese call their colonization of Tibet the liberation of the downtrodden masses. What is really going on in Tibet is a long policy of genocide against the Tibetan people. (more…)

CFL lightbulbs are environmentalist crime

Posted By on March 7, 2009

cflstandard.jpgLet’s catch up with the CFL lightbulb story. The mandated switch to CFL’s results in two environmental crimes. First, CFL’s contain mercury. If you break a bulb, toxic mercury dust is spread through your home, and you will have a pay a large fee to have your spill cleaned up. The leading U.S. manufacturer of CFL’s is General Electric. Guess where GE is manufacturing its bulbs? Give yourself extra New World Order credit if you answered, Communist China. That’s right, the mandated switch to CFL’s results in job destruction in the United States and exploitation of Chinese workers. Still want to go Green? Not if you have a conscience. See stories here, here, here, even at NPR, and our favorite site, SCREW THAT BULB. If you were fooled by Green propaganda, stay after class and write on the blackboard 100 times, The World Is Not a Single Environment and I Will Not Support Global Communism.

The Global New Deal to prop up the Global Old Deal

NWOU is pleased that the global socialists and monopoly capitalists have ruined their system of global trade agreements and destroyed their investment banks. But the race to reglobalize is on, led by Gordon Brown and Barack Obama. NWOU hopes that nationalist and localist policies will replace failed globalism. (more…)

What we learned in February

Posted By on March 3, 2009

In early February, NWOU briefly watched the bankers testify before Congress. The hearing was designed to humiliate the big bankers, but more revealing was the lack of knowledge congressmen have about how the financial system works. The bankers are about 40 IQ points ahead of the congressmen. (more…)
