U.S. cities cracking down on homeless

Posted By on August 30, 2009

The Democrats are devoted to supporting poor people, right? Well, not really. A collection of reports on how U.S. cities illegally deprive homeless people of their rights, from Occupied Iraq.

Ali seems to believe that “capitalists” are criminalizing homelessness in the United States. Nope, it’s the Democrats who control the big cities of the United States. These same Democratic mayors and police forces protect illegal immigrant gangsters from prosecution under the Sanctuary City dodge, even as they step up harassment of the homeless.

The formerly rich succumb to socialism

In our previous posts on the California budget crisis, we pointed out that the Democratic model of spending cannot be sustained in California. Democratic governance is a failed model, and the only reason Obama can follow the same policies for the nation is because the Federal Reserve Bank finances the increasing deficits. The Fed keeps the economy afloat for a while, but the question is, for how long? And, at what ultimate price?

The Wall Street Journal has caught up with the failed Democratic model and offers an analysis of three failed state economies, New York, California, and New Jersey. This article offers different language and analysis in greater depth. We like the “three failed states” image as it has more power than our single-state analysis. Familiarize yourself with the features of the failed Democratic model and bludgeon any nearby liberal with the facts. We note that the Wall Street Journal favors flight over resistance for residents of liberal and highly unionized states. Fair enough.

Can Democrats wake up?

Left-wing opinion is a waste of our time, but today we’ll call attention to Frank Rich’s column in the New York Times, “Is Obama Punking Us?”, because liberal opinion may be in the process of deserting Obama. This doesn’t really matter that much, but we’re in a lighthearted mood, so today we’re taking a break from the difficult work and having a look at the pathetic Frank Rich. (more…)

Farmers to march on Sacramento August 28

Posted By on August 23, 2009

We had to go all the way to Canada to find this story on the Sacramento rally being organized for August 28. This is an anti-eco rally to protest water being shut off to California farms. Farmers, loggers, truckers, farm equipment, trucks, and lots of angry people whose livelihood has been cut off by cutting off their water. By the way, that affects the food supply you eat. (more…)

How the Left controls violence in the streets

Let’s go back to April, when the anti-G20 movement in Europe took to the streets in a series of strikes and demonstrations to register their disapproval of job outsourcing, banker bailouts, higher unemployment rates, and immigrant workers taking jobs. No European leader was allowed to travel freely. (more…)
