Happy Bastille Day

How did Paris celebrate Bastille Day, the official anniversary of the start of the French Revolution? Appropriately. See the report at Spiegel.

The French Revolution was the most tragic event in Western history, a bloodbath engineered by Freemasons and Enlightenment psychopaths. None of the revolutionary leaders of the day had a vision of a good society, only a thirst for power. We are still paying the price today for their hatred of tradition and support for revolutionary violence under the phony slogan Liberty, Equality, Fraternity. The violence and disorder sparked by Bastille Day has never really been checked, though Napoleon’s defeat by the British and Russians delayed the cause of universal human rights backed by France’s revolutionary war machine from completely taking over Europe for a century. But the Left never learns, the Left never sleeps, and the Left never apologizes. So Parisians were treated to riots and car fires by “disaffected young men” (Moslems the French government had imported). Notice that the Left is so dishonest, it won’t even name the group responsible for the violence. Well, that’s the way the Left operates, secretly and dishonestly.

Meanwhile, President Sarkozy celebrated Bastille Day by ignoring the violence and riding in a car. There’s your French revolutionary heritage, a hypocrite in a nice suit waving at the socialist masses. Did you celebrate? We didn’t either. Nothing there worth celebrating unless you like mobs, universal war against humanity, and propaganda slogans.

Survey of states’ budget gaps

At SafeHaven, Richard Shaw takes a survey of the gap between revenue and spending for each state. One use for this information is to avoid investing in municipal and state bonds issued by the states with the greatest gaps. Another use is to select a state with a small gap or no gap for your relocation. Notice how many southwestern states and liberal states have big budget gaps. Yes, states do default on their bonds. But the Democrats never apologize for ruining economies.

The politicization of race: Reconquista

“It’s time that African-Americans and Korean-Americans put aside their differences and focused on what’s really important, hating white people.” Margaret Cho

Following the ideas of the Left always makes everything worse, and nowhere is this more evident than in matters of race. Honest talk about race is now prohibited by law. Tougher “hate crime” legislation is the key to the New World Order takeover as it will make honest talk about the Left’s racial subversion agenda impossible. The Left intends to use hate crime legislation as the final nail in the coffin of socialist takeover by preventing criticism of its central strategy, flooding Europe and the United States with foreigners to destroy white conservatism and white culture. Leaving California

Callifornia has been experiencing outmigration for the past five years. Reports about people leaving California are a bit difficult to come by because nobody stands at the border and gives them an exit questionnaire. So we’ll have to rely on anecdotal information. (more…)

New York Senate Democrats purge whites from staff

Posted By on July 12, 2009

Fredric Dicker reports for the New York Post on politics inside the state capital at Albany. Democratic Senators have split into factions, spy on each other, and now are accompanied by bodyguards. Recently Democrats in the state Senate tried to bar reporters from the chamber.

“A high-level Democratic staffer confided, “We’ve been told to only hire minorities.”

Some of the tension is the result of the firing of 200 white state workers, replaced by minorities widely viewed as incompetent. Support staff interviewed for this article complained that they are “surrounded by idiots.” The fact that Governor Patterson is perceived as weak and incompetent doesn’t help matters.

“Under the Democratic control that began in January, the Senate’s traditional civility gave way to a crude, rude, nasty and thuggish style.”

Actually no one should be surprised that the New York Democrats are uncivil, or that they are splitting and fighting as their policies bring their state closer to bankruptcy. The same thing is happening in California, and no doubt in other liberal states. The lapdog national media doesn’t report on what is really going on, so we’re happy we ran across this Post article.

More background on the maneuvering here, here, and here. New York state tax revenues have fallen by 35%. Ouch. We don’t think this story is going to have a happy ending.

Afghanistan, drugs, terrorism

NWOU hates to write about Iraq and Afghanistan. We believe most reporting is slanted. Plenty of websites are devoted to these topics, so we don’t need to cover daily reports. And, we hate these wars. We’ve never been to Iraq or Afghanistan, and we don’t presume to have superior knowledge.

But we suspect the relations among drug gangs, terrorists, the U.S. military, and the local governments are more complex than you can imagine.

Here are three stories that confirm our suspicions. McClatchy appears to have attempted some honest reporting on the drug trade, including the complicity of the Karzai administration. McClatchy has a follow-on story about the flow of heroin into Russia.

Paul Joseph Watson explains how the U.S. government funds and directs al Qaeda terrorist groups. Watson believes U.S. citizens are fooled by propaganda targeting terrorist groups as enemies of the United States. He believes the real motives for these unending wars are U.S. control over the drug trade and oil reserves.

We hate these stories. Draw your own conclusions.
