Civil unrest

Posted By on October 5, 2009

We want to get you out of the big cities, which are now corrupt liberal multicultural machines, and out of the liberal states, which are going bankrupt. These are the most likely places civil unrest might develop as cities go broke and cut services. We’d like to get you moved over to the small cities and towns of the most solvent states, where you will have the least contact with government. You can’t stop the takeover, but you can associate with the best people and improve your chances for survival. That strip of states running from Texas to Montana, then up through western Canada, and to Alaska, is the safest for now. Ideally, these states could split off from the United States and Canada and form a more perfect union. But that’s for later. Right now survival is the issue. And, we are in no hurry to form another federal government. Look how the last one turned out.

Claire Wolfe has thought about civil unrest in more detail than we have. You never know when a system or two is going to break down. We do know the Democratic policies are unsustainable and have brought many states and cities into crisis. It’s just a matter of time before life becomes unlivable in the liberal areas of the country. Right now things are relatively “cheerful” as the global financial system did not entirely crash economies to the bone. But the “recovery” scenario is simply a ticking time bomb of funny money injections followed by increased debt issuance. Rippling debt defaults could yet bring on bank panics, and then the streets get filled up, and then the police come, or the Canadian police come, and you don’t want to be there when.

Think ahead a little bit. It’s not safe out there.

California screaming

Posted By on October 3, 2009

Washington’s blog has a nice piece on how California solved its budget problem, temporarily. California is too broke to fund its schools, so it absconded with $2 billion in local redevelopment agency funds to cover the shortfall. The state also borrowed another $1.9 billion from future property tax revenues from cities. This state raid upon city funds is illegal, and it has cities scrambling to try to figure out how to survive independently of the state government. (more…)

Obama is not President of the United States

It’s hard to find good reporting on the G20 meeting in Pittsburgh. There were some demonstrations in the street, but that isn’t what interests us today. We are wondering what they decided. (more…)

Europe’s grouchy Marxists

We are in the New World Order mini-era characterized by the global financial crash and its various responses. This is a time when people are looking back and asking what happened while suffering the effects of the recession and wondering what’s next. (more…)

Community organizing in Afghanistan, too

Posted By on September 28, 2009

The corrupt top-down community organizing model is also being used in Afghanistan. If you are wondering where your tax dollars go, well, Afghanistan has its own chain of corruption. In Afghanistan they are called Joint Regional Teams. They get the money and decide where it goes. A lot of it goes into their own pockets. This is how you will be governed in the future. Budget Insight has the story.

It seems one difference between the Soviet Communist model and the New World Order model is that workers are allowed to take drugs under the NWO model. Pacification, community uplift, district or regional governance, community penetration, security assistance, anything with the word “cooperation” in it are your keywords for reorganization under socialist global control. In Afghanistan they are focusing on construction projects and military pacification. In America the Joint Regional Teams will focus on making you and your community Green and multicultural.

The Left’s community organization model isn’t really about community organization. It’s about lots of money, preferably from the federal government, going to a network of shell organizations that form bureaucracies of control and corruption. The “community” is the lowest level of the pyramid of power. It’s just the opposite of democracy and freedom. Authority and money flow from the top. The agenda of the organizers has more to do with their own power and the opportunities for extortion and graft than providing aid.

The counterinsurgency tactics of the U.S. military are being applied both abroad and at home. Pacification and control are better descriptions of their objectives than nation-building and community organizing. Local governments are bypassed or infiltrated and corrupted. The controllers preserve appeals to local democracy and “the will of the people” so that you will think you are living in some nineteenth-century museum rather than a socialist prison camp. Don’t worry, you will still have Coca-Cola.

Orthorexia

We know people like this. It’s hard to talk to them about it. Now it’s classified as a mental disease. Orthorexia nervosa. The Guardian article describes the complex but doesn’t offer any guidance for treatment. Also, the article is unclear about the line between prudence and obsession.

What does this have to do with the New World Order? Genetically modified foods have not been adequately tested for public safety. China sends poisoned products into the United States, and the government can’t stop them because of free trade agreements. A lot of meat is coming in from Mexico, where slaughterhouses are poorly regulated. Many ingredients in packaged foods are health hazards. Orthorexia can seem like a rational strategy for self-preservation.

Globalism violates one of our most fundamental ideas for healthy living, eat locally.

The reason orthorexia is a mental condition is the mental link between eating and virtue. Virtue is the wrong concept to link with healthy eating. Healthy eating should lead to healthy people. Health is its own reward, and the test of extreme diets is the healthy person, not adherence to a political agenda.

We observe that this preoccupation with the right food is spreading. You might be able to help someone by pointing out that the syndrome has a name and may be treatable. At the same time, it is good to acknowledge that there are health hazards in our food.

Governments and doctors

We know you are interested in the final form of the Democrats’ healthcare bill and what it will mean for you, but we don’t have any insight into the final insider negotiations. Instead we have some background reading of general interest.

Dick Morris has been all over the healthcare debate. Morris explains why care must be rationed under socialized medicine and why this rationing always serves as a death sentence for some people.

Arlanjio has a brief summary of various government schemes and how they have failed. (more…)
