We click on a few of these editorials to get a sample of their thinking. Previous to reading Scott Ritter, The Zionist Experiment Is Finished, we believed the only pro-white anti-Zionist Christian sect was Christian Identity. Mr. Ritter has informed us that there are two main branches of Protestantism, Christian Zionism and New Covenant, which is anti-Zionist. OK, take your choice. Either way, it’s up to God to decide to deal with Israel or allow the United States to collapse. This helps us to understand the reluctance of Christians to fight for their country’s preservation—it’s up to God to decide.
So, if Christians believe that God decides which countries to erase and which countries to prosper in victory, we have to ask, did God decide in favor of the Romans when they defeated the jewish rebellion? Did God bring the Nazis to victory over the jewish Weimar Republic? Did God favor the jacobins over the Christians in the French Revolution? Did He favor the slaughter of the priests and nuns? Did God favor Saladin over the Christian crusaders? What pattern of history shows that God cares about and decides the outcome of wars or revolutions?
We think these battles are decided more by military forces than divine forces. Tibetan Buddhism’s sophisticated mastery of magic and the spirit world was of no value when they were being conquered by the Chinese Communists.
