The Bibi Netanyahu corruption crisis is coming to a head, and it could go either way. We find it hard to believe that Crime Boss Netanyahu could be indicted and found guilty, but perhaps there are pressures coming from outside? Russia? China? If Netanyahu could be removed from office, it would greatly diminish the chances for war with Lebanon and Iran, and it would open the possibility of a peaceful settlement with the Palestinians.

Bibi Netanyahu might want to attack Lebanon and Syria anyway, but it’s possible his legal troubles led him into military adventurism, which, for the moment, has backfired as the Israeli military has been forced to back off. Even with U.S. support, it is unlikely that Israel could prevail over the combined forces of Russia and Iran.
