Slouching toward Copenhagen

The climate change con job is scheduled to become international law at the Copenhagen summit in December. The globalists have been trying to take over the energy markets for decades. Their dream of huge profits and total control over the world’s economy are about to come true.

Signposts along the way:

Henry Lamb understands that Copenhagen will form the basis of a world government. On the table: transfer of 2 percent of U.S. GDP to developing nations.

England is going to monitor personal carbon use and tax any excess beyond your personal allowance. More at the Telegraph. The police state is nearly total in the developed nations now. The English model will be extended to all the developed nations.

Motorists will be charged by the mile.

Behind the “save the planet” rhetoric, something else is going on. Don’t be fooled by the rhetoric that frames the agreement. The way they are presenting it won’t be the way it actually works. Remember, these guys are socialists, there is a Big Lie factor.

The United States and the EU will form an energy council to ratify “binding agreements.” Individual countries can’t be trusted to carry out the suicide of their own economies, so they need more global machinery to enforce discipline.

George Soros goes all in.

How the World Bank will make a little money on the deal.

“We need to continue to decrease the growth rate of the global population.”

See, it’s not just that there is too much carbon dioxide, there are too many people.

The too many people people claim that world overpopulation is “frightening.” Attenborough doesn’t bother to cite any statstics, but Japan and Russia are experiencing severe depopulation trends, Europe and the United States are shrinking (if you don’t count immigration), and no country has a growth rate that is significantly above replacement, over 2.1. Politicized green global population growth rates are phony pseudoscience designed to scare you, and ditto for resource consumption estimates. Socialist economics, collectivized agriculture, big agriculture, and Communism create so many economic dislocations that the world economy does not function efficiently. Forced New World Order migrations further exaggerate socialism’s unsustainable economic effects.

How they conned you on recycling.

Smart growth and Agenda 21. How they will control you at the local level.

Global warming debunked. One danger to the program is that global cooling accelerates so fast that all the liars and con artists are exposed.

Christopher Booker documents the history of enviro-weasels and how this species hath multiplied in an environment lacking natural predators.

Businesses are split over the proposed treaty. Of course, there will be big winners and big losers.

Why you will be seeing more stories about phony overpopulation in the days ahead.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon wants as much money as possible from the United States. That’s why he approached all the U.S. senators personally. The Senate response.

None of them mentioned the fact that the United States is trillions of dollars in debt.

Britain’s engineers weigh in: achieving the carbon reduction targets is impossible.

India and China sign a regional agreement.

Copenhagen may not produce a final agreement because everybody isn’t on the same page. The U.S. Senate opposition seems to be holding things up.

Why Obama won’t attend the meeting in Copenhagen.

Bruce Bueno de Mesquita is getting a lot of buzz as a prognosticator. Why he thinks Copenhagen will fail.

In Singapore on November 15, leaders announced that the treaty will not be finalized in Copenhagen in December. But that doesn’t mean anyone will be “let off the hook.” They’re so close to having everyone enslaved they can just taste it. This article blamed resistance in the United States as the main obstacle to agreement. But Obama has been very supportive of the climate takeover in his speeches. The Senate is the obstacle.

Is the Copenhagen treaty going to be the final seal on the New World Order takeover, or is the run-up to Copenhagen just empty New World Order theater? Are they organized or disorganized?

The Copenhagen treaty is to some extent a game of chicken. They need everybody in because there is such a tremendous payoff for any nation that manages to avoid being taken in by the treaty. Each national leader of the developed nations risks ruining his economy if he actually carries out the mandates. His party might be thrown out of office if there is an honest election in his country. So Copenhagen is like a mutual suicide pact. They have to keep every country in line with the stated goals for decades and make sure the takeover sticks or they face being exposed as the liars and criminals they are. That is why there is “brave talk” and a lot of foot-dragging, and that is why Bruce Beuno can calculate the odds and predict failure.

But don’t underestimate these enviro-Nazis. They have the power and the money and the vision of total global control, an enormous payoff if they can succeed. The Left never sleeps and never gives up, they just keep on attacking obsessively. Delays don’t really mean that much to them. They have been controlling the world’s population for a long time, and they are not about to give up just because of a few obstacles. We’re betting they can take global socialism to the next level with a once-and-for-all gamble for total control.

Finally, if you are hanging your hat on government subsidies to create new clean energy industries and millions of green jobs, here is an analysis of why that won’t happen. Free trade agreements also operate on clean energy industries, just like every other industry. China’s low cost of production is going to drive most solar companies out of business, perhaps as early as next year. Government subsidies for solar power are money down a rathole. Communist China benefits from being the low-cost producer, and unless you repeal free trade, they will dominate the global market for solar panels. No country can build up its own industries in the era of “free trade.” China wins, everybody else loses. The same old game. Add the wasted solar subsidies to the direct transfer of 2 percent of GDP to the developing nations and you have the perfect New World Order recipe for theft and economic destruction.
